Analytic properties of the effective interaction allow us to indicate the positions of the poles of low-order Pade approximants and the domain of convergence of the series of Pade approximants. All evidence favors the conjecture that the Pade approximants will converge to that branch of the effective interaction which reproduces the model space states, if the series converges.
