Investigation of the structures of the high-boiling phenols isolated from the tar of group G6 coal

A scheme has been devised for the separation of high-boiling phenols (+ 523K) from tar of G6 gas coal. High-boiling phenols of bituminous coal tars are complex poly-functional compounds and molecular and structural formulae of such phenols are suggested.
