A detailed 3-D General Purpose Heat Source (GPHS) model was created to predict the steady state temperatures in vacuum. Temperature varying material properties were used for accurate temperature predictions. Where necessary, the contact conductances were calibrated against temperatures measured or predicted previously. The GPHS component temperatures are listed in the modeling to show the temperature distributions. Clad temperature is plotted against aeroshell temperature for a wide range of thermal power. From that the user may predict the clad temperature easily by interpolation. Equivalent conductance from clad to aeroshell is also plotted. This allows the user to directly incorporate a 2-nodes per module GPHS model to reasonably accurately predict the clad temperatures. {copyright} {ital 1998 American Institute of Physics.}
