The Multiwell Faciolog computer process uses a multivariate analysis technique which integrates all types of data from a group of wells and reduces the information to one or two key displays. Four cored wells with similar logging suites were selected for study, Hartzog Draw Unit (HDU) Nos. 5308, 5297, 5294, and 5296. The logs were corrected for environmental effects and normalized. The Multiwell Faciolog data base, containing the average log responses for each ''electrofacies,'' was constructed from a key well (HDU No. 5308). Geological information was used to describe each electrofacies stored in the data base, and each of the remaining wells was processed through the Multiwell Faciolog chain and displayed in a lithologic-column format.
