A motor vehicle is described including a rotary piston engine located at a front part of the vehicle and having a casing comprised of housings connected together, rotor means in the casing and rotatable about an axis of an output shaft of the engine, the output shaft extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A speed changing transmission means located rearward of the engine and connected with the output shaft of the engine, a center differential gear means having input means connected with the transmission means, and a first output means connected with a rear propeller shaft and second output means are included.
