Glauber exchange effect in e/sup -/--Li elastic collision

The Glauber exchange effect, so far neglected in all previous Glauber calculations of e--Li scattering, is evaluated and included into the analysis of e--Li elastic collision at intermediate energies. It is found that the inclusion of the exchange effect modifies drastically the differential cross sections at lower scattering energies (20 eV). The Glauber results with exchange still fail, however, to provide a good agreement with experimental data of e--Li differential cross sections which have been made available recently in the literature at 20 and 60 eV.
