Conversion of thermophysical property data

Work has been performed to compare experimental coal fluid thermophysical property data with those generated using the petroleum-based correlations employed in the SRC-I Baseline Design. This comparison was accomplished by selecting pertinent coal fluid property data from the literature, as collected in the SRC-I Thermophysical Property Data Base Report, converting them to consistent units, and superimposing them on the corresponding data figures in the SRC-I Baseline Design Technical Data Book. This compilation included six major properties - vapor/liquid equilibrium, enthalpy, density, viscosity, thermal conductivity, and surface tension.
