A charging circuit for an electric shaver is described. It comprises a power source circuit for transforming and rectifying a supply voltage, a voltage-stabilizing circuit including a plurality of diodes connected in series, a resistor for detecting output voltage, a secondary battery and a coulometer connected in series to the voltage-stabilizing circuit, a diode connected in parallel to the coulometer, a lamp coupled between the collector and the coulometer and one cathode, and a power source switch for connecting the junction to the shaver.
