Combustion: the formation and emission of trace species
Book
·
OSTI ID:6593481
The mechanism of formation and emission of trace species from combustion processes are described in this book. The material focuses on relatively few combustion systems and relatively few types of fuels, namely mobile vehicles which burn gasoline, diesel, kerosene, or other solid and liquid propellants. Much material in this book relates to air pollution from combustion in mobile vehicles. The contents of the book are divided into 5 chapters entitled: Introduction, Premixed Flames, Secondary Combustion Processes, Diffusion Flames, and Applications. There are 2 appendixes.
