Polarization of protons in the reactions. gamma. /sup 3//sup ,//sup 4/He. -->. p-arrow-rightX and the quasideuteron model

We present the results of measurement of the polarization P of inclusive protons in interaction of photons with the nuclei /sup 3/He and /sup 4/He corresponding to the kinematics of photodisintegration of a two-nucleon pair in a nucleus with E/sub ..gamma../ = 350 MeV and theta/sup *//sub p/ = 90/sup 0/. The results were compared with those for P in the ..gamma..d..-->..pn reaction obtained under similar conditions. It was shown that the quasideuteron mechanism of photon absorption is confirmed in measurements of proton polarization.
