Various choices available for conserving energy in the industrial sector are discussed, and how energy is currently used in that sector is explained. Various ways for saving energy and recommendation for implementation of various energy-conservation programs and techniques are given. Scenarios are introduced to evaluate consequences of failing to establish a citywide energy-conservation program should future energy prices increase and/or supplies decrease.
