This proceedings contains numerous papers which deal with the reclamation aspects of both surface and underground coal mining operations. However, it does contain papers on noncoal mining operations which are relevant to a land reclamation aspect. Other papers deal with hydrology of mining operations and methods of predicting and mitigating acid mine drainage. Current technology on revegetation of mine spoils is also included.
