Lepton charge conservation in the double. beta. decay of /sup 130/Te

It has been established that the upper limit of the lepton charge nonconservation parameter does not exceed (2 to 5) x 10/sup -4/. This value was obtained on the basis of a direct experimental study of the double ..beta.. decay of /sup 130/Te T/sub 1/2/ > 1.2 x 10/sup 21/ years.
