Exact phase structure of large-N one-plaquette Hamiltonian lattice quantum chromodynamics with a mixed fundamental-adjoint potential

The one-plaquette Kogut-Susskind Hamiltonian with a ''fundamental-adjoint'' potential is solved in the large-N limit using the quantum collective-field method. The exact phase diagram possesses both first- and third-order weak-strong and frustrated-strong phase transitions. No second-order phase transition is present.
