About nonassociativity in physics and Cayley-Graves' octonions

An introduction and review of some ideas about nonassociativity in particle physics are given. The Cayley-Graves' hypercomplex algebra of octonions is described. The representation problem, particularly the regular (adjoint) bimodular representation, is studied in more detail.
