Water resources appraisals for hydroelectric licensing: Santee River Basin, South Carolina and North Carolina. Planning status report

The hydroelectric power potential of water resources in the Santee River Basin area in North and South Carolina is evaluated. This 17,400 mi/sup 2/ area includes the drainage systems of the Santee, Cooper and Ashley Rivers. Data are included on existing and potential water resource developments and on water use by existing and projected steam-electric generating facilities. Past and current planning studies are summarized. The information is current as of December 1980. (LCL)
