Cross-cooled desiccant dehumidifier for solar powered cooling systems

A 0.6 m x 0.6 m x 0.6 m cross-cooled desiccant dehumidifier prototype using silica gel sheets has been manufactured and extensively tested over a wide range of operating conditions. The prototype has a high COP with a low pressure drop and requires low regeneration temperatures.
