Influence of the porous structure of silica gels on their dynamic activity with respect to water vapor

Materials chosen for examination were fine-pored silica gels and water resistant granulated silica gels made from them. Under conditions used in tests, all the samples ensure a high degree of drying of the water vapor-air streams, and the granulated silica gels have considerable lower dynamic activity than the original silica gels, simply because of the difference in porous-structure parameters. 4 references, 2 tables.
