This book discusses the superconductive materials and design and applications of superconductors. Applications discussed are particularly in aerospace industry, for accelerators and for electric utilities. Technology of superconducting films, superconducting magnets, levitated trains, superconducting magnetic energy storage are briefly reviewed. Superconducting properties of yttrium, barium and copper oxides are also reviewed.
