Water Conservation in the Home

Ways of conserving water in the home are detailed for: the toilet; showers and baths; laundry; dishwasher vs handwashing; garbage disposal; drinking and cooking; lavatory uses; and outside uses. Conservation of water by recycling wastewater, utilizing a composting toilet and a trickle filter, is discussed.
