Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:6540246
The Offices of the Assistant Secretary for Conservation and Solar Applications, and the Assistant Secretary for Policy and Evaluation, requested the Energy Information Administration to provide forecasts of energy prices at the DOE regional level for each year through the year 2000. Historical fuel prices for 1975, and 1976, and forecasted fuel prices for 1985 and 1990 are reported as an initial step in this process. The assumptions and the methodology employed are described and results are tabulated. Specific data for each of the ten DOE regions and the national average for the four economic sectors (residential, commercial, industrial, and transportation) are shown in tables. Summary information for each economic sector is also shown in tables.
