The water resources of the Elwha River Basin, a 321 sq. mile area on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state are evaluated for potential hydropower development. Information is included on the climate, topography, economy, demography, and existing water and related land resources development in the Basin, on the Glines Canyon and Elwha hydroelectric projects, and future development and uses of water resources in the area.
