DOI:https://doi.org/10.2172/6535446· OSTI ID:6535446
As part of the information acquisition task for the DOE International Solar Commercialization Working Group (ISCWG), Team C conducted a three-week survey of six African countries in June--July 1978. The six countries visited were Kenya, Cameroon, Nigeria, Niger, Ivory Coast, and Senegal. All these countries are rich in solar energy and are friendly to the U.S. They represent a wide range of geographic features, climatic conditions, and energy resources. The main results are outlined.
