We discuss a special construction of the SO(10) model which has the following features: (1) There are no right-handed heavy neutral leptons. (2) All Higgs multiplets are in 16 x 16 or 16 x 16. (3) Two kinds of combinations of the neutrinos ..nu../sub L/, ..nu../sub L//sup c/, ..nu../sub R/, ..nu../sub R//sup c/ in one family have a very small mass difference.
