Observation of the decay. omega --> pi. /sup 0/e/sup +/e/sup -/

An experiment carried out in the electron-positron storage ring VEPP-2M with the Neutral Detector has demonstrated the existence of the decay ..omega --> pi../sup 0/e/sup +/e/sup -/ and has measured its relative probability BR(..omega --> pi../sup 0/e/sup +/e/sup -/) = (0.59 +- 0.19)x10/sup -3/. An upper limit has also been established for the probability of the decay phi..--> pi../sup 0/e/sup +/e/sup -/: BR(phi..--> pi../sup 0/e/sup +/e/sup -/)<1.2x10/sup -4/.
