User's manual for the magnetohydrodynamic generator channel code, MHDCHN

MHDCHN is a two-dimensional steady state MHD generator channel code which solves for the electric current density and potential field in a channel section. It was designed to operate with a companion fluid code, SCF, which supplies thermodynamic and velocity data as input; however, it may also be used independently or made to interact with other fluid codes. MHDCHN is currently operational on the Sandia CDC 6600-7600 computer system. The equations that are solved and the input and output data that are required for operation of the code are described.
