A number of trends in recent years have combined to make recovery of useful energy from refuse into a viable proposition. Energy Recovery from Refuse Incineration is based on an Institution of Mechanical Engineers seminar. It discusses materials handling, combustion methods, energy production and power generation, environmental considerations, the commercial aspects and experience with existing installations.
