Elastic scattering of positive pions on /sup 12/C at 49. 9 MeV

Differential cross sections for the elastic scattering of positive pions on /sup 12/C at 49.9 MeV were measured. The reuslts differ from those determined by other investigators. The data are analyzed in terms of ..pi../sup +/- nucleus partial waves and are compared to various model calculations.
