Method and apparatus for sealing a casing in a subterranean well bore

This patent describes apparatus for sealing a casing in a subterranean well bore. It comprises: a tubular valving assemblage attachable to the casing. The tubular valving assemblage comprising concentric inner and outer tubular bodies defining an elongated annular chamber therebetween; port means in the inner tubular body communicating with the bore of the casing, whereby an inflation fluid supplied through the casing can enter the annular chamber through the port means; an inflatable packer secured to the tubular valving assemblage and having a fluid inlet passage communication with the annular chamber; first sleeve valve means disposed in the annular chamber above the fluid inlet passage; first shearable means securing the first valve means in the upper position; and seal means on the first sleeve valve.
