Chemistry of the biradicals produced in the Norrish Type II reaction

This review is concerned with the mechanistic and kinetic behavior of 1,4-ketylalkyl radicals. Part of the discussion is centered on the Norrish Type II reactions. The aspects covered are directly relevant to the behavior of the intermediate biradical.
