The complete Bouguer gravity map of the Nevada part of the Death Valley 1/sup 0/ x 2/sup 0/ sheet results from a compilation of gravity data obtained by field crews of the U.S. Geological Survey. The locations for the gravity stations and the gravity base stations are shown. Most of the gravity stations were obtained as part of the gravity survey of the Nevada Test Site and adjacent areas. Approximately 115 gravity stations were established in the Amargosa Desert in cooperation with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
