The objective of this study was to develop and use far infrared spectroscopy with a synchrotron source for the elucidation of structures and interactions at electrode surfaces and interfaces. The authors investigated anodically formed surface films on copper in aqueous solutions and water adsorption on gold and platinum. This document contains graphs of infrared spectra and cyclic voltammograms of the films on copper.
