A heat pump is described whose working fluid, circulating through a closed loop comprising an evaporation zone, a compression zone, a condensation zone, and an expansion zone, consists of a nonazeotropic mixture of at least two separate fluids, said working fluid being in counter-current heat-exchange contact with a first external fluid used as heat source, and with a second external fluid used as heating fluid.
