The emission rates for photons from hadronic matter are calculated for the elementary processes [pi][rho][r arrow][pi][gamma], [pi][pi][r arrow][rho][gamma], and [rho][r arrow][pi][pi][gamma] at [ital T]=100, 150, 200 MeV. Hadronic matter is described by an effective chiral Lagrangian with pions, [rho] mesons, and [ital A][sub 1] mesons. The vector and axial-vector mesons are included as massive Yang-Mills fields of chiral U([ital N][sub [ital f]])[sub [ital L]][times]U([ital N][sub [ital f]])[sub [ital R]] symmetry. The emission rates are compared with those obtained without the [ital A][sub 1] meson. For [pi][rho][r arrow][pi][gamma] and [pi][pi][r arrow][rho][gamma] reactions the photon emission rates are increased with the inclusion of the [ital A][sub 1] meson in intermediate states. There is a small increase of the emission rate from [rho]-meson decay.
