The authors present an investigation to appraise the identified resources and assess the potential for undiscovered mineral resources of the area. The study area has inferred subeconomic sand and gravel, limestone, and sandstone resources. The area has moderate potential for undiscovered limestone and gypsum resources; low potential for oil, gas, silver, manganese, tin, vanadium, zinc, uranium, and all other metals, and for clinoptilolite and geothermal energy resources.
