A solar energy collector and converter carousel is disclosed comprising a plurality of elongated reflectors mounted on a platform for arcuate movement and mounted for further movement each around a heating tube arranged in the liner focus of the reflectors. The carousel is linked to a tracking mechanism which causes the reflectors to be trained toward the location of the sun so that they receive a maximum amount of solar energy.
