This paper includes an interview with Clive Chajet, vice chairman and CEO of Lippincott and Margulies, Inc. Chajet expresses his views on organizational restructuring. In his experience, it is usually the top echelon of management that recognizes a change has occurred within their company and that an examination of the company needs to be made. He advises interviewing key outside audiences for an objective view of the company in question. He advises natural gas companies to realize it may be necessary to modify their identities and communication programs.
