The papers presented in this volume provide an overview of recent theoretical and applied research in the field of system parameter identification and adaptive control. Topics discussed include techniques for identification of linear time-variant multivariable systems, techniques for the selection of identifiable parametrizations for multivariable linear systems, parametric methods for identification of transfer functions of linear systems, and techniques in dynamics systems parameter-adaptive control. The discussion also covers estimation of transfer function models using mixed recursive and nonrecursive methods, a covariance control theory, and adaptive control with recursive identification for stochastic linear systems.
