Predicting bottom-hole pressure for gas and gas condensate wells

Journal Article · · Pet. Eng. Int.; (United States)
OSTI ID:6484101

Accurate bottom-hole data are required in order to develop inflow performance curves (prediction of well deliverability), reserve estimates, and equipment performance curves for the tubing string. A program has been developed to calculate the static or flowing pressures, at a specified depth, for a dry gas or a gas condensate well using well data. The features offered by this program include calculations of (1) equivalent flow rate, wet gas MMSCFD; (2) well stream gravity; (3) gas deviation factor; (4) gas viscosity, CP; and (5) static or flowing bottom-hole pressures, PSIA.
