The effects of tube wall heat transfer on the natural convection flows in a parallel loop thermosyphon are investigated analytically. The results show that the thermosyphon with consideration of those effects is more stable than that without the consideration. They also reveal that an increase in the value of thermal diffusivity ratio, [alpha], or radius ratio, [delta], will increase the magnitude of the onset critical Rayleigh number, Ra[sub c] and reduce the velocity of steady flow.
