We compute the Froehlich interaction for the most general two-band Hamiltonian describing the interaction between phonons and electrons. As a special case we obtain the four-electron interaction for the dynamical Jahn-Teller effect corresponding to the model proposed by Yu and Anderson. Our results may have some relevance for the special phonon contribution to the pairing interaction in high-{Tc} superconductors.
