The influence of laser-heating on Raman spectra of YBa{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub x}

The influence of temperature and pump power on phonon modes in YBa{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub x} (x = 6.9, 6.4) was investigated. In YBa{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub 6.4} a laser-heating up to 550K results in decrease of linewidth and frequency of apex oxygen mode. This result is interpreted as an ordering of the chain oxygens.
