How to automate compliance reporting. [Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 (SARA)]
- Advanced Alternatives, Wayne, PA (United States)
Data management and compliance reporting are critical to survival of businesses that must meet the requirements of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986. This article lists the considerations that must be given in the selection of software for multiuser systems. Among these considerations are computer platform, price, user interface, standard preprogrammed reports, graphics capability, update and maintenance policy, help screens and documentation, hot line support, data entry and customization possibilities, user-defined field availability, and integration services. The need for user involvement in the selection process as well as in the needs assessment study is emphasized.
