This report covers recent research on the mechanical properties of polycrystalline solids in the following areas: load relaxation studies of solute-dislocation interactions during strain aging, a state variable approach to grain boundary sliding and related phenomena, mechanical testing at elevated strain rates, and finite element modeling of nonelastic deformation process by using state variable constitutive relations.
