Nuclear structure at intermediate energies. Progress report, April 1, 1978 -- March 31, 1979. [Summaries of research activities at Rice University]
During the contract year progress was made in data analysis and interpretation of a number of LAMPF experiments: E-80 ({pi}{sup +-} scattering from nuclei), E-81 (pp and pd reactions), E-341 (pd --> d{pi}{sup +}n), E-82 ({pi}{sup +-}d reactions), and E-197 (pd --> {sup 3}He{pi}{sup 0}). This anaysis was aided by the start of operation of a new PDP 11/34 computer system. A list of publications is included.
