Ultrasonic attenuation and thermal conductivity in clean, type II superconductors

Based on the reformulation of the Gor'kov equations by Eilenberger, Larkin, and Ovchinnikov, we propose a calculational method for transport coefficients in clean, type II superconductors. For the ultrasonic attenuation rate ..cap alpha.. (qparallel/sup B/) and the thermal conductivity kappa (hTperpendicularB) we give analytical expressions near the upper critical field H/sub c2/ at low temperatures. Comparison with experiment leads to satisfactory agreement with the theoretical results.
