complex-coordinate studies of helium autoionizing resonances

Several aspects of the numerical application of the complex-coordinate method for calculating eigensolutions that satisy the virial theorem, and the influence of the basis set on the accuracy of the calculated positions and widths is investigated. The complex-coordinate method is related to the stabilization method of Holoien and Midtdal.
