A method and an apparatus are disclosed for measuring and controlling foam sheet blow-up in a thermoformer oven. Control of the oven operation is achieved through monitoring the measured blow-up of a material which being heated in the thermoformer oven in order to regulate the thickness of the plastic material prior to its conveyance into a molding or forming station.
