This patent describes a turbocharger in which an exhaust gas turbine is driven in a rotating manner by the energy of the exhaust gases from an internal combustion engine through an exhaust gas channel. The intake air in the internal combustion engine is supercharged by a compressor which is driven in a rotating manner by the exhaust gas turbine, a supercharging pressure control device. This device comprises: drive means; detection means; control value obtaining means; first control means; second control means; cutoff means; and recording control means for recording a compensated value.
