An apparatus is described, comprising: at least one radiation detector, each of said at radiation detector producing an output; means responsive to said at least one radiation detector for determining the resonance energy levels of any radiation detected by said at least one radiation detector; and means in mapped communication with said determining means for producing at least one chord in an audible range, each of said at least one chord characteristic of a radioisotope, said producing means producing said at least one chord when said at least one radiation detector detects a radioisotope.
